Apart from the uses of coconut shell already described in other sections, the shell is also used to make eco-friendly, durable household utensils: ladles and serving spoons, spatulas, small spice spoons, food bowls and cups, sometimes accompanied by “zero-plastic” forks and knives. It is also turned into small household accessories (ashtrays, trinket trays, pen holders, toothpick holders, soap dishes), perforated lamps casting patterned light, tealight holders and candleholders. Other uses include toys, animal-shaped money boxes, clothing buttons, combs or hair accessories, back scratchers, small tools for massage or body exfoliation, wall coverings, handbags, and even bras!. These varied uses are as traditional and ancient as they are modern.

For illustrating this section, we can produce on request at least one large size HD poster (up to 180x100 cm in size). These posters should be adapted to each country, on a case-by-case basis, in order to prominently feature locally produced coconut products, and to promote the marketing of these local products.
